Description
This worship service, sponsored by DC Clergy United (Dean Snyder is on the steering committee), will provide an opportunity for DC’s faith community to show its support for marriage equality. The event will include great music, moving testimonials and plenty of spiritual sustenance. Our sister congregation Asbury UMC, has agreed to host the service.

Description
The hearings on the DC marriage equality bill will be the biggest in DC Council history. 269 people have signed up to testify for and against marriage equality. Council Member Mendelson has spread the hearing over two days. The first 100 people have already testified. The remaining 169 witnesses will speak on Tuesday, November 2. Please wear red to show your support for marriage equality. Remember: wear red to the hearing to show your support for marriage equality.
